- Perform rather badly against defensive pike units.
- Vulnerable to seemingly all special attacks.

Archers
|

Brutes
|
- Can't block ranged attacks
- Often in low numbers.
- Weak against Pikes.
- Can be easily defeated by a high-level Plunge or Warhammer.
- Brutes will often favor attacking your units over burning houses which can be helpful in leading them into a pikewall.
- Rather slow movement speed.

Brute Archers
|
- Can't block ranged attacks, though normal Archers can not match them.
- Often in low numbers.
- Weak against Infantry.
- Weak against a high-level Plunge.
- Cannot shoot units who are in elevated positions if they are too close to the overlooking ledge.

|
Huscarls
|
- Can't block ranged attacks when engaged in melee combat.
- Often in low numbers.
- Can be pushed off of the ship.
|
|
Dual Wielders
|
- Vulnerable to ranged attacks, especially when they're on their ship
- Small groups will not lunge when going uphill, making them vulnerable to pikes waiting at the top.
