Bad North has 4 Troop types usable by the player. These are The unspecialised and unupgraded militia,the purely defensive but extremely competent Pikes, the versatile and all-rounder Infantry, and the potent ranged force - archers. In addition, each unit has a commander that uses melee, no matter the unit they command.
